Version 1.0 -- Effective May 15, 2026
Terms of Service
These Terms govern use of the platform's standards-aligned diagnostics, personalized learning paths, mini-lessons, tutor workflows, reading-coach tools, and Pennsylvania PSSA ELA module.
Acceptable Use
Users may not share account credentials, attempt to bypass authentication or rate limits, manipulate scoring, submit another person's work as their own, reverse engineer private assessment content, or use the platform for activities unrelated to learning, assessment preparation, tutoring, intervention, or parent support.
Students must use the platform under the direction of a parent, tutor, teacher, learning center, or school-authorized adult when required.
Account Responsibility
Adult users are responsible for maintaining the security of their accounts. For students under 13, a parent or legal guardian must provide consent before account creation and is responsible for supervising account use consistent with the student's age and learning setting.
AI-Generated Content Disclosure
Some lessons, recommendations, tutor messages, reading feedback, and essay feedback are generated or assisted by AI. Teacher review and deterministic safeguards are used where appropriate, but the platform does not guarantee a specific score outcome, assessment result, admission result, or academic result.
Users should treat AI-generated explanations as instructional support, not as a replacement for professional judgment from a qualified educator.
Intellectual Property
The platform and its software, prompts, lesson structure, reports, and design are owned by the service operator or its licensors. Students retain ownership of their own essays, answers, and submitted content. Teacher edits to AI-generated or platform-generated instructional content are licensed back to the platform for operating, improving, and reviewing the service.
Privacy
Use of the service is also governed by the Privacy Policy. For students under 13, parental consent is required before account creation.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, present a security risk, misuse student data, attempt to circumvent scoring or access controls, or are inactive for an extended period. Users may request account deletion through the data subject request process.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" without warranties of uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or guaranteed academic results. The service operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from use of the service.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms as the product changes. Material changes will be reflected by a new version and effective date. Continued use after changes take effect means the updated Terms apply.
